FIX THE WORLD is a global charity that was established in Sydney, Australia. Its goal is to share a powerful biological explanation that tackles the root cause of all of our problems as humans — the human condition. In simple terms, it’s about understanding why we, as a species, are capable of such extremes of both selflessness and compassion, and selfishness and depravity.
At the heart of FIX THE WORLD is the work of Australian biologist Jeremy Griffith, whose main book, FREEDOM: The End of the Human Condition provides the ground-breaking explanation for why humans behave the way we do — and it all comes down to biology.
More than ever, the world is feeling the heavy toll of unresolved psychological issues linked to the human condition. That’s why the words of famed biologist E.O. Wilson ring so true: “There is no grail more elusive or precious in the life of the mind than the key to understanding the human condition.” And it’s why Professor Harry Prosen, a former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has called Jeremy Griffith’s work “the holy grail of insight” we’ve been searching for — the crucial breakthrough that if, and when, embraced by the world will help us heal and move forward as a species.
FIX THE WORLD is all about sharing this breakthrough explanation of the human condition with as many people as possible — because the impact it has is truly life-changing. Understanding the human condition doesn’t just help us make sense of ourselves; it actually has the power to free us psychologically.
That’s why it’s called FIX THE WORLD. Once we understand why humans behave the way we do — especially the anger, ego, and emotional alienation — we can start to let go of all that negativity. And over time, even across generations, that understanding can lead to a complete transformation of humanity. Imagine a world where all that psychological pain and conflict fades away — that’s the vision of FIX THE WORLD; that’s what it is working toward every single day.
As Ales Flisar, the founder of this Centre, has said:
“What is FIX THE WORLD? I don’t know how else to put it — FIX THE WORLD is here to transform the world!
FIX THE WORLD is a platform that promotes information that provides the compassionate explanation of humans. This information, written by biologist Jeremy Griffith, solves the human condition — that eternal question of why, when the ideals are to be cooperative and loving, are humans so selfish, divisive, angry, hurtful, egocentric, mean, etc. And importantly, Jeremy Griffith explains why we have been avoiding this subject of all subjects, this issue of our unideality, and why therefore we dedicate our lives to not going anywhere near the bloody thing!
The information presented by FIX THE WORLD allows us to now confront the subject of the human condition instead of denying it exists, effectively allowing us to progress from our deeply-entrenched stalled psychological state.
This movement is truly unique in that it provides a macro understanding that allows us to explain all manner of difficult subjects, from religion and politics to the relationship between men and women, etc, and in doing so allows us to solve the many problems we face everywhere we look. We can now, for the first time, actually start to fix the world!
It’s the best thing that has happened in my life. Having come across FIX THE WORLD and understood the information that it provides, I now live with such an incredible relief and excitement for the future of humanity.”
